Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bread
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    1 Tbsp. onion
    1 carrot, grated
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    pepper
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    8 oz. water
Preparation
    Soak bread in water and then squeeze excess water out.
    Mix bread, ground beef, celery, onion, carrot and spices.
    Shape into thin patties and brown in oil.
    Put in large heavy pan and cover with tomato sauce and water.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
