Granny Purdon'S Baked Pepper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 ripe tomatoes, peeled
    4 or 5 slices white bread or biscuits
    1 or 2 hot peppers
Preparation
    Mash
    peeled tomatoes; add bread and mix well.\tMixture should be\tmoist
    but
    not real juicy.
    Add some more bread if needed. Pour
    into\ta
    greased baking dish.
    Mash into a thin layer.
    Cut pepper
    up\tover
    the
    top.
    Bake
    at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until brown on top.
    Serve hot.
