Spud Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 slices bacon
    4 large potatoes, diced
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 carrots, diced or grated
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. flour
    4 c. milk
    3 tsp. celery salt
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Fry bacon, crumble and set aside.
    In approximately 4 cups of water, boil potatoes, carrots and onions until tender.
    Meanwhile, melt butter.
    Add flour and stir until smooth.
    Cook for about 1 minute.
    Add milk all at once, blending until smooth; cook until thickens.
    Add to cooked veggies (do not drain).
    Add bacon.
    Add more milk if needed.
    Garnish soup with grated cheese.
