Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    3 very ripe bananas, mashed
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add bananas, eggs and vanilla and blend well.
    Stir dry ingredients together.
    Add to mixture and stir thoroughly.
    Add walnuts and mix well.
    Turn into greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan and bake until tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 70 minutes.
    Remove from pan and let cool completely on rack before slicing.
