Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sweet or hot Italian sausage
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves crushed garlic
    2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 c. canned tomatoes, undrained
    2 (6 oz. each) cans tomato paste
    lasagna noodles
    1 container Ricotta cheese
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute meat, onion and garlic.
    Add sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, Italian seasoning, pepper and 1/8 cup parsley.
    Mix well.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste and 1/2 cup water, mashing the tomatoes. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
    Simmer, stirring occasionally until thick, about 1 1/2 hours.
    Combine Ricotta cheese, egg, 1/8 cup parsley and salt, mixing well.
