Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. poppy seed
1 Tbsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour two 9 x 5-inch pans. Combine 2 1/4 cups flour, sugar, poppy seed and baking powder in a bowl.
Beat in milk, oil and vanilla.
Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake until tester inserted comes out clean (50 to 60 minutes).
Serve warm or room temperature.
Yields 2 loaves.
