Indian Fry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk or water
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix all ingredients to form a very sticky dough. Knead in additional flour as needed. Roll or pat out circles of dough 1/4-inch thick and about 6-inches wide. Heat oil until hot. Fry quickly, turning once. Serves 6 to 8.
