Spaghetti Beef Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. butter or oil
2 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 can tomato soup
1 soup can water
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, cut in chunks
Preparation

Cook spaghetti in boiling, salted water until barely tender; drain.
Using a heavy kettle with a tight fitting cover, saute onion in butter until lightly browned.
Add ground beef and brown until meat is crumbly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Stir in soup and water.
Add mushrooms, 2/3 of the cheese, sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix in the cooked spaghetti.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Turn into a lightly greased casserole. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
