Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
butter (size of an egg), softened
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
juice and rind of 1 lemon
Preparation

Beat until creamy the sugar, flour, butter, egg yolks and salt.
Add lemon juice and rind and milk.
Whip well.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the lemon mixture.
Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
