Golden Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sliced carrots, 1/2 inch thick
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. orange juice
Preparation

Cook carrots covered in boiling salted water until tender, about 20 minutes; drain.
Meanwhile, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and ground ginger in small saucepan.
Add orange juice; cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Boil 1 minute.
Stir in margarine.
Pour over hot carrots, tossing to coat evenly.
Serves 4.
