Apple Or Peach Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 large apples or peaches
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter or oleo
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Slice fruit in a 10-inch buttered pan or casserole dish, and cover with 1/4 cup sugar.
Cream the butter and sugar, and then add beaten egg.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Add to creamed mixture and spread over fruit.
Bake in a moderate oven, 350\u00b0, for 45 minutes.
Serve hot or cold with cream.
