Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. water
3 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. warm water
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 pkg. yeast
5 c. flour
salt
Preparation

Boil 3 cups water and baking soda.
Mix the warm water, brown sugar and yeast.
Set aside for 5 minutes.
Add the flour.
Stir until dough is not sticky.
Flatten onto floured surface; knead until elastic.
Form into pretzel shape.
Drop into boiling water for about 5 seconds.
Put on greased pan; sprinkle with salt. Bake at 475\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
