Meringue Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 whites of eggs
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
whipped cream
fruit (your choice, optional)
preserves (optional)
Preparation

Beat the whites as stiff as possible.
Add the sugar gradually, then in turn the salt, vanilla and vinegar.
Grease 2 pans with butter; pour in the mixture and bake in a moderate oven, about 45 minutes.
Cut in squares.
Cover 1/2 of the squares with whipped cream, with preserves or fruit on top.
This is filling, over which must be placed the other squares, which again have whipped cream heaped over them with a touch of preserves or fruit.
