Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 eggs

Preparation

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, lemon juice and vanilla. Add flour, soda and cream of tartar.
Chill several hours.
Roll dough and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Ice with a buttercream frosting.
