Pinon Nut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pinon nuts, shelled
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, water, margarine and vinegar in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and heat until the temperature is between 234\u00b0 and 240\u00b0 on a candy thermometer.
    Cool and beat in the nuts.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto a buttered pan or oiled paper.
    Allow to set.
