Chocolate Chiffon Cake(Makes About 12 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) bar sweet baking chocolate
    1/2 c. hot water
    5 eggs, separated
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt chocolate in hot water; set aside. Beat egg whites in large bowl until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff and glossy; set aside.
    Combine melted chocolate mixture, egg yolks, flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla in small bowl; beat 1 minute with electric mixer. Carefully fold chocolate mixture into egg whites until blended. Pour into ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.
    Invert in pan; cool completely.
    Remove from pan; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
