Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 recipes plain pastry
6 1/2 apples
sugar and cinnamon
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
1 heaping Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Roll pastry to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut into 12 (1-inch) squares.
Pare and quarter apples.
Place 2 quarters, sprinkling with sugar and cinnamon, in pie crust square and fold up corners, pinching crust together at top.
