Cabbage With Apples And Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 c. cider
    1/4 c. water
    1 whole clove
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 apples, cut up
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain and squeeze dry.
    Put in casserole dish with cider, water, cloves, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
    Place cut apples on top.
    Top with butter.
    Heat in 375\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
