Low-Fat Pasta And Red Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. pasta (linguine, angel hair, etc.)
    vegetable cooking spray
    1 1/2 tsp. reduced fat margarine
    1 medium red bell pepper, cut into strips
    1/4 c. sliced green onions
    1 large clove garlic, minced
    1 c. commercial oil free Italian dressing
Preparation
    Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt and oil. Drain.
    Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; add margarine. Heat on medium-high until margarine melts.
    Add pepper, onions and garlic.
    Saute until tender.
    Stir in Italian dressing; cook until heated.
    Add pasta, tossing gently, just until mixture is thoroughly heated.
    Season with black pepper and grated Parmesan cheese.
    I sometimes add sliced grilled chicken breasts and cooked turkey Italian sausage.
    Great meal!
