Never-Fail Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar and salt.
Add milk and vanilla flavoring. Pour into 8-inch glass baking dish or 8 individual baking cups.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Set in pan of hot water and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool at room temperature. Serve plain or top with whipped cream.
