Beef And Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cubed beef (stew meat is fine)
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 to 3 medium onions, chopped
    2 bay leaves
    12 oz. beer
Preparation
    Brown beef well in salad oil and remove from pan.
    Add flour, sugar and onions in pan.
    Cook until soft and slightly caramelized. Add bay leaves, beer and meat to pan.
    Cover and simmer until meat is tender.
    Thicken sauce if you like; serve over noodles.
