Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    4 Tbsp. hot water
    1 1/2 c. grated, raw sweet potatoes
Preparation
    Combine oil and sugar.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add egg yolks and beat well.
    Add hot water, then flour.
    Stir in potatoes and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
    Bake in 3 greased and floured cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool.
