Ingredients

2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. almond brickle bits
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg. Add all dry ingredients. Add vanilla. Mix well. Place onto cookie sheet in 1-inch balls. Take a glass and place bottom of glass into a small amount of sugar. Press cookie flat with glass. Bake 8 to 11 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
