Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. white corn syrup
1/3 c. water
3 qt. popped corn
1/4 c. butter
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Keep corn warm in a slow 300\u00b0 oven.
Stir and cook sugar, corn syrup, water, butter and salt until sugar is dissolved.
Continue cooking without stirring until syrup forms a brittle ball or to 270\u00b0.
Add vanilla.
Pour syrup slowly over corn.
Mix well. Grease hands and shape into balls.
Makes 12 medium size balls.
