Sunshine Preserves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. honey
1 qt. cherries, pitted
Preparation

Combine sugar and honey.
Bring slowly to boil.
Add the pitted cherries.
Cook 12 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Place kettle in greased shallow pan.
Cover with glass lid and allow to stand in sunshine one day or longer.
Seal in hot, sterile jars.
