Marinated Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli
    1 medium head cauliflower
    1 pkg. fresh mushrooms
    1 bell pepper, sliced
    3 ribs celery, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. oil
    1 small onion, grated
    2 tsp. poppy seed
Preparation
    Cut up all vegetables.
    Combine in large container with tight lid.
    Mix together all remaining ingredients with a wire whisk. Pour marinade over vegetables; toss.
    Cover and chill at least 3 hours.
    Lasts several days.
