Hawaiian Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. orange muffin mix
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
Preparation
    Combine muffin mix and 1/2 cup flaked coconut.
    Drain crushed pineapple, reserving 1 tablespoon syrup.
    Add pineapple, beaten egg and 2/3 cup milk to dry ingredients.
    Blend only until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 15 to 20 minutes, or until done.
    Beat cream cheese until fluffy.
    Add reserved pineapple syrup; beat well.
    Serve with hot muffins.
    Makes 12 to 16 muffins.
