Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large apricot gelatin mix
    2/3 c. granulated sugar
    2/3 c. water
    2 - 4 oz. small baby food apricot, strained
    1- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
    1- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/3 c. pecans, chopped
    1- 8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    In small sauce pan, combine jello, sugar, and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir and dissolve well.
    Remove from heat.
    Add baby food and pineapple with juice.
    Stir and set aside for 10 minutes. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and Cool Whip until smooth. Pour into fruit mixture and mix together.
    Stir in pecans and refrigerate until firm.
