Mashed Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can vegetable soup
    4 medium potatoes
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 to 1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Saute onion and ground beef until meat loses redness; season with 1 teaspoon salt and pepper.
    Place meat and onion mixture in 2-quart casserole dish; cover with soup.
    Cook potatoes until soft; mash with butter and milk.
    Season with remaining salt. Spoon mashed potatoes over meat mixture.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until bubbly.
