Hawaiian Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 small ripe bananas
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients into a bowl.
    Combine the shortening and the dry ingredients with your fingers.
    Puree the bananas and add to the flour and shortening, along with the well-beaten eggs. Fold the liquid into the dry very quickly (do not overmix).
    The batter should resemble muffin batter.
    Place into loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 until a toothpick is inserted into the middle and comes out clean.
    Remove from pan and cool on a rack.
