Kirk'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 qt. milk
    3 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chopped clams (undrained)
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground sage
    1 tsp. ground thyme
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1/2 tsp. black or white pepper
    minced fresh parsley (for garnish)
Preparation
    Place potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water.
    Bring to a boil; cover and cook until tender.
