Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk, scalded
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    10 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix together first 4 ingredients and add.
    Cool to lukewarm, then add yeast dissolved in warm water.
    Mix in about 8 1/2 cups flour to cake batter consistency.
    Let rise, uncovered, until double.
    Punch down.
    Add about 2 cups flour, baking powder and soda.
    Mix and then cover and let rise two hours until double. Punch down.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
