Sofilthy'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 stick oleo
1 egg
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda (scant)

Preparation

Cream sugar
and butter.
Add egg and vanilla.\tAdd dry ingredients
alternately with buttermilk.
Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie
sheet.
Bake
at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
When
cool
put a wad of dough between the bottoms of two cookies to make a sandwich.
