Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/3 c. white or brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly and add sugar and salt; blend well. Add milk and vanilla and continue mixing ingredients. Strain if desired. Pour into seven buttered baking cups on muffin cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Pour one cup of warm water in big cake pan and then arrange the custard cups in this water bath. Bake in moderate oven approximately 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted at edge of custard comes out clean. Remove cups from water and cool.
