Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped very fine
    1 1/2 c. rice
    2 1/4 c. chicken stock
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in pan.
    Add onions and cook in butter.
    Add rice and mix well.
    Add chicken stock and bring to boil.
    Add bay leaf and white pepper.
    Mix well.
    Simmer 20 minutes until rice is cooked.
    Remove bay leaf and serve.
