Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. cooking oats (quick oats are okay)
    1 stick margarine
    2 eggs
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats.
    Add margarine and baking soda. Let stand 20 minutes.
    Mix in other ingredients and bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes until done.
