Everything September - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) bag carrots, peeled and cut into large chunks
    2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
    1 large potato, peeled and cut into large chunks
    1 c. orange juice
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. honey
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    In a large pot, combine the carrots and all the potatoes.
    Add the orange juice, water, salt, pepper and onion powder.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and add the butter and honey.
    Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 1 1/2 hours, or until the vegetables are tender.
    Continue simmering and sprinkle in the flour, stirring, until slightly thickened, 3 to 5 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
