Ingredients

2 eggs, separated (beat white to put on top of pie)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. water
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
a little butter
1 tsp. vanilla (add after cooking)
Preparation

Mix and cook until thick.
Add vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Beat egg whites and add to top of pie.
Brown meringue in oven or under broiler.
