Pork Chop Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 center-cut pork loin chops (about 1 1/2 lb.), trimmed
    2/3 c. apple cider
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    4 sweet potatoes (1 1/4 lb.), peeled and quartered lengthwise
    2 green onions, sliced (white and green parts separated)
    1 tsp. leaf sage, crumbled
Preparation
    Heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
    Add pork chops; brown lightly on both sides (8 minutes).
    Slightly overlap chops in skillet.
    Pour in 1/2 cup apple cider.
    Add potatoes in a single layer along with white part of green onions.
    Sprinkle with sage, salt and pepper.
    Simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
