Fruitcake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    3/4 lb. Crisco shortening or 3 sticks butter, melted
    3 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. soda
    3 slices red pineapple
    3 slices green pineapple
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. chopped dates
    1/2 c. red cherries
    1/2 lb. white raisins
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Chop pineapple and cherries.
    Mix well first 7 ingredients, then add all other ingredients.
    Drop teaspoons on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Let stand 2 minutes.
    Remove from cookie sheet.
    Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
