Cranberry-Orange Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. walnuts
    1 egg, beaten
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen orange and cranberry relish, thawed
    1/2 c. orange juice
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Combine egg, relish, orange juice, water and nuts.
    Add all at once to dry ingredients.
    Stir until just moistened.
    Turn into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool thoroughly.
