Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. fat
Preparation

Cream fat, sugar and egg.
Add vanilla.
Stir in all remaining ingredients.
Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick.
Cut with doughnut cutter and deep fry until golden brown.
Drain and coat with powdered sugar.
