Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can cream-style corn
    3 canned pickled jalapeno peppers, chopped
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Combine corn meal, salt and soda.
    Stir in corn, milk and oil. Add onion, peppers, cheese and eggs.
    Mix well.
    Turn into greased 9-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until set, about 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes.
    Cut in squares to serve.
