English Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Gold Medal flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. currants
Preparation
    Cut butter into dry ingredients.
    Add eggs (keep 1 white for brushing top).
    Add milk and currants.
    Roll 1/2 inch thick.
    Cut in triangles.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Brush with unbeaten egg white and sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake 15 minutes at 450\u00b0.
