Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. sour cream
3 eggs, separated
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add sour cream, egg yolks and vanilla; mix well.
Add combined dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch layer cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans.
Fill and frost with Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting.
