Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 c. canned pumpkin or squash
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat.
    In a small bowl, mix pumpkin and milk. Add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin mixture.
    Add nuts and raisins.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
