Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can French-style green beans, drained well
    1 (No. 2) can English peas, drained well
    1 (No. 2) can Shoe Peg corn, drained well
    1 medium jar diced pimentos, drained well
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. green pepper
    1 c. onion
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix last
    5 ingredients together and bring to a boil to dissolve sugar.
    Let cool while vegetables are draining.
    Pour over vegetables and marinate overnight, the longer the better.
