Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
1 c. cream-style corn
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 hot pepper, crushed or 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except cheese.
Pour 1/4 batter into a well-greased 8 x 10-inch pan.
Sprinkle cheese over top and then add remaining batter.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
