Cracklin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sifted corn meal
    1 small c. cracklins
    1 tsp. salt
    warm water (amount needed for mixture)
Preparation
    Take 1 quart sifted corn meal and a tea cup of cracklins.
    Rub the batter in the meal as fine as you can.
    Add salt and make up with warm water into a stiff dough.
    Make into pones.
    Bake and eat hot.
