Panic Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (21 oz.) can Lucky Leaf cherry pie filling
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. Jiffy white or yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. or less butter or margarine
    1/2 to 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Put cherry pie filling in lightly greased cake pan (I spray with Pam).
    Sprinkle cake mix over filling.
    Dot generously with butter or margarine.
    Sprinkle with pecans.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
